Motrin, Yes Please!

Saturday was so much fun it resulted in my Sunday starting off with a handful of Motrin!!

A rallied up some friends for some wake boarding at the cable park.

I felt a little rusty as it has been about a year since I been out on the water to do it but it was just like riding a bike. Actually, according to the guy running the cable, “it’s nothing like riding a bike but it will come back to you”. He didn’t seem to really like my comparison of the two.

It did come quite easily! No face plants for this girl :) Ok, ok throughout the day I ate it a few times. If I didn’t eat it at least a couple of times, then I wasn’t really trying, right?!!

I didn’t do any of the jumps or rails, just cruised around and jumped whatever wake came my way.

Gettin’ it done!

Fun with Friends

Chillin’ in the water after one of my crashes, at least there was smiling :)

We ended up getting the 4 hours pass. What a good call that ended up being! Due to a storm that rolled in, they ended up shutting down the cable for an hour. Even with the cable shut down it was still fun. Helps when they have good jams playing!

Raining…

Sunday there was supposed to be a race but due to a storm, the race was canceled. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t rum. We just took refuge on another sail boat and enjoyed some drinks along with good conversation.

About Amy Christine

I’ll try anything once, even more so if a helmet is required. So far that mentality has led me to some pretty awesome adventures and experiences I will never forget. I may not be the best at everything but I have a blast doing it. I believe in just going with the moment…you never know where it will take you. That is perhaps my favorite view on life. Wake boarding, motorcycles, sailing, mountain biking, cooking or whatever else I can get my hands on, there are so many things in life to experience, this blog is me sharing my adventures with you! See my Places section for some of the highlights.
